Doubling down
Continuing with the concept in the original Photo Ark compendium, the portraits here are organized by visual themes derived from the creatures themselves, and presented largely in pairs to contrast or highlight those themes. For this project, I also researched and wrote the fact features (like the one seen below on the kiwi), as it was easier to have the person selecting the images and doing the type design writing and editing the facts to fit.
